Cook 1
Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Cooking experience highly recommended
Food Safety Course, WHMIS, 1st Aid and Criminal Record check required
Experience with Nutritional diets, food preparation and grocery orders taking into account the content, balance, colour and nutritional values in line with an agreed budget
To implement a 4-week menu rotation
Keep an accurate inventory of kitchen supplies

Personal Care Worker
Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Food Safety, 1st Aid, and WHMIS certificates
Personal Care Worker Course (online 2 day course that can be taken within 90 days of hire)
Duties to Include:
Resident Care: Includes the assistance of personal hygiene as well as encouraging residents to maintain independence
Resident programming: Includes the facilitation of resident daily living activities and participation in the community
Home Assistance: Includes housekeeping laundry and the preparation of meals and snacks.
Support residents in meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
Medication assistance once the required Medication module is completed
Ability to work independently
Additionally:
Requires a Criminal Record check
Recommended:
A good understanding of written English and able to communicate effectively in the English language.
